New Greenhous Tachograph Centre in Shrewsbury

Shropshire-based Greenhous Group, one of the UK’s largest privately owned companies, has acquired the Continental VDO Tachograph franchise for the Shrewsbury area, operating out of new premises at Knights Park, Shrewsbury.
Bryan Griffiths, Service Manager for Greenhous DAF Shrewsbury, said “The investment in the new “Greenhous Tachograph Centre” enables us to offer a one stop shop for customers, which includes parts, sales, service and now Tachographs. Tachographs are a legal requirement and are fitted to all trucks to monitor the working hours and speed of drivers.”
Talking about the recent acquisition, which is located near Greenhous DAF’s premises on Battlefield Enterprise Park, Bryan commented: “We are pleased to extend our service to customers in the local area with the new addition of a tachograph centre in Shrewsbury.
We have employed an additional member of staff, Neil Wilde, to ensure that all vehicles are expertly calibrated to meet VOSA’s high standard. Neil joined us at the start of the year and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience of the Tachograph market in Shrewsbury. We have also retrained Graham Speake to support Neil in carrying out all aspects of tachograph calibrations and repair.”
The newly acquired tachograph centre is open 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays and other times by appointment.
